Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PromptEval ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PromptEval is a SaaS platform for evaluating and optimizing prompts for large language models (LLMs). The Service includes automated evaluation, a production iterator, and a versioned prompt library, according to the subscribed plan.

3. Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials.
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
One account per person; multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits are prohibited.

4. Plans and Payments

Free: 3 credits per month, no charge.
Basic ($9/mo): 30 credits/month — evaluations, iterator, prompt map and optimizer.
Pro ($19/mo): unlimited use of all features, up to 35,000 characters per prompt.
Team ($49/mo): Pro features + Eval REST API + Prompt API + 60,000 characters per prompt.
Payments are processed by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1). Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each billing cycle.
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until the paid cycle ends.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Generate, evaluate or optimize illegal, abusive or harmful content.
Reverse-engineer, scrape or make unauthorized automated use of the platform.
Attempt to access other users' data or circumvent security measures.
Resell or sublicense the Service without express authorization.
Consume computational resources disproportionate to expected plan usage, including via automated scripts or abnormal request volumes.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of the prompts you submit. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the contracted Service. We do not use your prompts to train AI models.

7. Availability and SLA

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, third-party failures (Supabase, Anthropic, Vercel) or events outside our control. We are not liable for losses resulting from unavailability.

8. Limitation of Liability

PromptEval is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that evaluations or prompt improvement suggestions will produce specific results for your use case. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 3 months.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

You may close your account at any time by email. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, with or without notice, in cases of: (a) violation of these Terms; (b) abusive or disproportionate use of resources that compromises Service availability for other users; (c) attempts to circumvent technical usage limits; or (d) any conduct that, in our reasonable judgment, poses a risk to the platform or other users. In case of suspension for technical abuse, the user may request review via the contact email.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with 15 days' notice by email or platform notification. Continued use after that period constitutes acceptance of the changes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), applicable EU consumer protection regulations apply where mandatory. Disputes are subject to the courts of São Paulo, Brazil, unless local mandatory law provides otherwise.
